Brief: Design and build an ergonomically-considered and structurally-resolved chair that is no larger than 20x20x30" and that comfortably supports an adult. Using primarily a half a sheet (48” x 48”) of .75” thick Baltic Birch plywood.
Arc Chair is a multi-purpose café chair designed with low cost in mind. Humans have evolved with constant body motion and easily becoming strained from static body positions. The arc-shaped backrest offers dynamic seating positions while also serving as an armrest.

ArcChair is a multi-functional cafe chair designed for practicality.
Humans need to move.
Our muscles are designed for dynamic use and are not well adapted to static strain. We quickly become uncomfortable when the body or part of it is left without movement.
